James Yoest's designs encapsulate sustainability, and social awareness, implementing concepts such as unorthodox recycled materials e.g. parachutes, organic fabrics, and organic dying. James recently graduated from the Academy of Art University and has shown in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week's student show in New York.

Jade Chiu has worked for such labels as Anna Sui, L.A.M.B. and Diane von Furstenberg. Now launching her own line of accessories and basics, her inspiration is derived from a fusion of Chinese culture and Western style. The theme of this collection is animal inspired from the Chinese zodiac.

ANDOHA
Thomas Ando-Hart, native New Yorker designing menswear and womenswear, finds inspiration across American and Japanese culture. The collection is comprised of denim, knits, wools and is both innovative and nostalgic.

LINNEY WARREN
Linney is a new designer starting her first collection with party dresses which are feminine, elaborate, with special attention to details. Her current collection is floral and sculptural. Linney has worked for DVF, Marc Jacobs, and is currently working on a collaboration with a costume designer.

MAIRA SANTOS HOUCK
Maira is a Brazilian designer who has been featured in the Fusion Fashion Show- FIT vs Parsons March ’09 with honorable mention. Maira currently has a collection of women's ready to wear, and sportswear- embracing sophistication, while pushing the envelope with the use of volume and color.

Tar and Feather is exploring a new market for a cutting-edge style of clothing. Mixing D.I.Y. sensibility with deconstructionism, the result is clothing that's edgy, architectural, and transitional. They approach their designs with the dichotomy of being ornate yet practical, stuctural but soft, mixing casual and dressy fabrics, bold and faded colors.

Kelly Dempsey is a young, self-taught designer from Boston. She has shown at NY Fashion Week as well as in shows all over the East coast. Kelly Fashion plays with color and texture; she is known for her fun and colorful cocktail dresses, and creates original pieces with vintage fabrics.
